Toshiba Satellite E305-S1990X is a 14-inch mainstream laptop that powered by a powerful Core i5 processor and lasted for more than six hours of battery life. It also supplied with premium features like a backlit keyboard, a Blu-ray drive, and advanced network & communication features like Intel Wireless Display 2.0 and WiMAX. Toshiba Satellite E305-S1990X  price is offered at $899.99 direct from Best Buy. But, some user reporting that clickpad was non-responsive and its design is needs to be redecorate. If you merely looking for performance, cheaper mainstream laptop like Asus U46E-BAL5 (price $749.99) and Lenovo IdeaPad V570-1066A9U (price $629.99) come with rather similar specs and performance.

Toshiba Satellite E305-S1990X system is powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M processor, which paired with 4GB DDR3 memory. This processor is also used in Asus U46E-BAL5 and Lenovo IdeaPad V570-1066A9U. On PCMark Vantage testing, Toshiba Satellite E305-S1990X scored for 6,959 points. Its equipped with Intel HD Graphics 3000 integrated graphics. This graphical chip didn't mean to support hard 3D application. 3D hardcore games like Crysis and Lost Planet 2 is not playable on its native resolution. Toshiba Satellite E305-S1990X use 67WH battery which can run up to 6 hours 28 minutes based on MobileMark 2007 battery test. Meanwhile Lenovo IdeaPad V570-1066A9U (with 48Wh 6-cell battery) only passed for 4 hours 41 minutes. Asus U46E-BAL5 (with eight-cell 74Wh battery) has better performce with 7 hours 19 minutes.
